All You Need to Know About the APS Process in India

If you are a student in India looking to study at a German university, the APS process is something you will need to go through. The APS (Academic Evaluation Centre) is the process Indian students must undertake to be eligible for admission into a German university.

What is the APS process?

Starting November 01, 2022, the German Embassy in India announced that all Indian students applying for admission to a German university must submit their applications through the APS process due to the large number of applicants.

The primary purpose of the APS is to assess and evaluate foreign qualifications, in this case, Indian ones. This evaluation helps German universities determine whether or not a student is eligible for admission into their respective programs.

If you qualify, an APS certificate will be issued that you can use to apply for a German student Visa. This process is mandatory for all students who wish to study in Germany.
